Go Fly a Kite II

Nearly a year has passed since I had the pleasure of reading the submission of the gentleman calling him self "The Traveller" where he told of observing a glorious kite trailing several colours above Folly Beach, SC, which is slightly south of Charleston.

South Carolina Red Shirts and Patriots

Take this new Flag poll

The Lexington Chronicle is running a poll on whether the Battle flag is OK where it is. (At the CSA Monument on the Capital lawn.)  Go To, http://www.lexingtonchronicle.com

to take the poll and view the results.

Was there ever any doubt?

John McCain hates Dixie

A FEW WEEKS AGO, John McCain said the Confederate battle flag is "a symbol of racism and slavery." After briefly backtracking and saying it was also, somehow, a symbol of "heritage," he immediately retreated from that position, clarifying that if he had ever said it was a symbol of heritage he had misspoken. Slavery and racism it was.

Alert Alert! Redshirts, and Patriots!

We are going to flag McCain:

We will be across from Koger Center on Assembly Street,

near Green St., in front of the Wendy's restaurant. The address is 803 Assembly St.

Calling All Red Shirts to the Burning of Columbia

On Saturday 17 February 2007, the South Carolina League of the South will again commemorate the Burning of Columbia.  It was on 17 February 1865 that the war criminal, Sherman, set the city of Columbia afire.

On an unusually warm January morning of Monday 15th Red Shirts of the South Carolina League of the South met at the State House in Columbia to protest the hate organisation, the NAACP.

Red Shirts Ride Against Morris Dees and the SPLC

When the SCLoS learned that Morris Dees was coming to Columbia to speak at the University of South Carolina, we were very surprised that this hate-monger was actually coming into our back yard.  Oh, what joy!  The Red Shirts would get to ride again, their third time in 2006 and its only February.

   The Times and Democrat

The NAACP will go on attacking and tearing down Southern symbols until they are all hidden away or until the NAACP is stopped. Our protest is entirely appropriate because the NAACP, by declaring war on Southern symbols, has declared war on Southern heritage, Southern pride and the Southern people.

   Christian movement moving in

By Ron Barnett, USA TODAY

GREENVILLE, S.C. — From his rural home near Lodi, Calif., Cory Burnell keeps close watch over the news from South Carolina, and he likes what he sees.

   The Burning of Columbia Commemoration

18 February 2006

Finally, after one hundred forty-one years, with the aid of the South Carolina League of the South, justice for the citizens of the Republic of South Carolina has been served.  In Columbia, on the steps of our State House, the tyrant, Abraham Lincoln, and the war-criminal, William T. Sherman, were both hung by the neck until dead.

"[L]et there be no change [in Constitutional powers] by usurpation; for though this, in one instance, may be the instrument of good, it is the customary weapon by which free governments are destroyed." -- George Washington

    Flagging the NAACP January 2006

This was the South Carolina League of the South second year of flagging the NAACP on MLK Day.  As with all of our Red Shirt events, it was a lot of fun.  We thoroughly enjoy taking the fight to our enemies. With Pictures!

Robert Hayes comments on the Charleston City Paper article

About the League of the South.

S.C. Tops Hate Groups. : Chris Haire
